Thanks to a grant from the South Central Community Foundation, we are once again sponsoring the wellness program: Maintain Don’t Gain for the upcoming holiday season.
Not a weight loss program– our aim is to encourage healthy eating and exercise at a time when many gain 5 to 10 pounds.
(We can still enjoy Gram’s loaded mashed potatoes, just as long as we aren’t couch potatoes the rest of the day/week!!! ).
Here are the details:
Weigh-in before Thanksgiving & after New Years.
Sign up & weigh-in at the Macksville City Library*
Starting Weigh-in Times: Mon. Nov. 18th (1-6pm), Wed. Nov. 20thth (1-6pm), Sat. Nov. 23rd (9am-noon), Mon. Nov. 25th (1-6pm), Wed. Nov. 27th (1-4pm)
Final Weigh-In will be held: Sat. Jan. 4th (9am-noon) or Mon. Jan. 6th (1-6pm)
Those who maintain by not gaining more than 2 pounds will be placed in a drawing for one of two $50 Mack-cash certificates!
All participants will receive fun handouts & tips for healthy eating & exercise along the way.
This program is for adults and is offered free of charge through the Macksville City Library, thanks to a grant from the South Central Community Foundation & prize money from the Macksville Rec.
